Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it launched long-range solid-fuel missiles at a Jordanian military airbase on June 10, 2026. The IRGC said the strike destroyed several key facilities, including an F-35 aircraft hangar and a main command and control center. The base reportedly hosts US military personnel.

According to the IRGC statement, the attack marked the final phase of a broader counter-operation in response to earlier US strikes. The group claimed to have targeted 21 American air and naval sites across the region and to have downed a US MQ-9 drone within Iranian airspace. The IRGC warned that any further US military action would be met with a “devastating and final” response, placing full responsibility for escalation on Washington.
