The Israeli military has claimed responsibility for killing Abd Harb, a commander of Hezbollah’s engineering unit, in an operation in southern Lebanon. The army also reported that its air force destroyed a launcher overnight, which it alleged Hezbollah fighters had used to fire rockets toward Israeli positions in southern Lebanon.
