Balloting for the DUCSU and hall union elections began Tuesday at 8 a.m. Voting will continue until 4 p.m., with all students in line by the deadline allowed to cast their ballots.
The election is being conducted across 810 booths in eight centers on campus. Ballot boxes reached the centers around 7 a.m. and were opened before polling agents and journalists. Heavy security measures are in place, including checkpoints at entry points, deployment of law enforcement agencies, and the presence of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel.
Students reported high turnout early in the day, with many eager to vote in the morning.
