Israel’s military operation in the occupied West Bank has led to the largest displacement of Palestinians since the 1967 war, according to UNRWA Commissioner-General Philip Lazzarini. The destruction of refugee camps in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams has left thousands homeless, with civilian infrastructure severely damaged. Around 40,000 people have been forced to flee. The United Nations has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation, warning that continuous Israeli military actions are causing widespread displacement, destruction of homes, and damage to essential infrastructure.
