Israel has formally accepted former U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed ceasefire with Iran. In a statement released Tuesday, Israeli authorities said: “Any violation of this ceasefire will be met with a strong response.” The statement also claimed Israel had delivered significant blows to Iran’s military leadership and destroyed multiple strategic targets within central Tehran over the past 24 hours. Israel also thanked Trump for his mediation efforts.
