The Bangladesh Embassy in Doha has issued an emergency advisory urging all Bangladeshi expatriates in Qatar to exercise special caution following the Iran-Israel conflict. The notice, released on Saturday, February 28, 2026, advised residents to avoid military installations and remain indoors or in safe locations unless absolutely necessary. It emphasized that individuals should not go outside unless essential until the situation improves.
The embassy further instructed expatriates to keep essential items such as cash, Qatar ID (QID), health cards, necessary medicines, mobile chargers, and dry food with them at all times. It also reminded everyone to respect Qatari laws and follow official statements and instructions from the Qatari government. The advisory warned that uploading related photos or videos on social media violates Qatari law and urged caution in online activity.
For any emergencies, the embassy requested that Bangladeshis contact its hotline or email at mission.doha@mofa.gov.bd for assistance.
