Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland has expressed readiness to assist Bangladesh, particularly if support is needed for constitutional reforms. Speaking during her meeting with Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus in London on Tuesday, Scotland emphasized that supporting democracy and good governance in member countries will remain one of the organization’s top priorities for the next five years. Highlighting the challenges many member states face due to climate change, she added, “We will work to ensure fair access to climate financing.” Dr. Yunus urged her to help engage more youth in sports activities.
