The 11-party alliance has announced Colonel Oli Ahmed as its candidate for the presidential election. On Monday morning, a delegation led by Hamidur Rahman Azad went to the Election Commission to collect a nomination form for the candidacy. The report was published on August 10, 2026.

The nomination form for the presidential election was collected from the office of an election official on behalf of the delegation’s 11 members. The alliance said it had decided to nominate Colonel Oli Ahmed for the post of president.

The 11-party alliance is also preparing to submit the nomination form within the stipulated time. Under the presidential election schedule, the relevant political parties and alliances will complete subsequent procedures, including collecting and submitting nomination forms.
