Despite losing 1–0 to Spain in extra time, AFA President Claudio Tapia said all football stadiums across the country will hold a one-minute applause to honor the team’s effort, sacrifice, and achievement of reaching a second consecutive final.

Tapia shared on social media that South American football body CONMEBOL has allowed Argentine clubs participating in the Copa Sudamericana playoffs to carry special banners showing respect for the national team. The initiative aims to extend the gratitude and admiration already shown by thousands of fans who greeted the players at the airport upon their return.
