Interim government advisor Dr. Fawzul Kabir Khan has announced a plan to provide low-interest loans to replace unfit public transport vehicles. At a ceremony launching the 'Rapid Pass' card system at Hatirjheel on Sunday, he stated that restoring order to the public transport system is a government priority. The new card system was introduced on 10 BRTC buses operating on the Gulistan–Shibbari–Motijheel route, with five buses showcased at the event.
