Israel launched massive airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, killing at least eight people and injuring 142 others. According to the Israeli military, dozens of warplanes took part, targeting Houthi command centers and other sites. Houthi officials, however, claimed that residential areas were hit, destroying multiple buildings. Rescue operations are underway amid the rubble. The strikes followed a drone attack by the Houthis on Israel’s Eilat city on Wednesday, which left several Israelis injured.
