The death toll from the tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft near Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, has climbed to 31, with 165 others injured, according to an official statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday afternoon.
The injured are being treated at various hospitals including the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, and CMH. Most of the deceased are schoolchildren. Among the confirmed adult casualties are the pilot, Tawkir Islam, and a teacher, Mahreen Chowdhury. Many of the injured remain in critical condition.
