The ceasefire between India and Pakistan, brokered by the United States, has been extended until May 18. This decision followed a series of communications between the two countries’ Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) via hotline. Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated that the truce was initially extended until May 12 and then again to May 14. After further talks on May 14, it was extended until May 18. “On May 10 at 10:15 AM, US Secretary of State informed me that India is ready to agree to the ceasefire. We also gave our consent,” Dar confirmed.
