Newly elected Member of Parliament and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman began removing his own election posters in Dhaka-15 two days after the election. On Saturday evening, he personally started taking down banners, posters, and festoons from the Mirpur-Kafrul area.
According to party sources, this initiative is part of his commitment to building a safe, clean, planned, and modern neighborhood. The act was presented as a symbolic step toward fulfilling that pledge within his constituency.
The cleanup effort highlights a post-election focus on civic responsibility and environmental tidiness in the area, aligning with the stated goals of the newly elected representative.
