Zonayed Abdur Rahim Saki, chief coordinator of the Ganosamhati Andolon and candidate of the BNP alliance, has won the Brahmanbaria-6 constituency. According to the announced results on Thursday night, he received 94,231 votes. His closest rival, Md. Mohsin of Jamaat-e-Islami, secured 37,965 votes. The information was confirmed by the Bancharampur Upazila Executive Officer, who also served as the assistant returning officer.
The election result marks a significant victory for the BNP alliance in Brahmanbaria district. The announcement came as part of broader updates on parliamentary races across the country, with other constituencies such as Pabna-5, Patuakhali-4, Meherpur-1, and Gaibandha-5 also reporting results for BNP and Jamaat candidates.
