British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Sarah Cooke, currently in London, has warmly welcomed Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus during his visit to the United Kingdom this week.
In a statement, High Commissioner Cooke said,
“It is a great pleasure to welcome Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus to the UK this week. His visit highlights the shared commitments between our two nations in areas such as democracy, trade and investment, climate action, regional security, and support for the Rohingya community.”
Commenting on the visit, Acting Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh, Ruhul Alam Siddique, noted,
“This is a highly significant visit. Bangladesh’s relationship with the United Kingdom is both deep and multi-dimensional.”
