Three leaders from the Barisal City Committee of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement announced their resignation on Tuesday, citing organizational paralysis and failure to implement plans for a mass uprising in July. In a joint statement, Nahid Islam (Joint Secretary), Jannat Ara Ria (Joint Convener), and Anannya Islam Esha (Organizer) also accused fellow activists of corruption, opportunism, and political servility.
