Thirteen police officers, including two sub-inspectors, two assistant sub-inspectors, and nine constables, have been suspended for extorting money from stone-laden trucks in Sylhet’s Companiganj. The decision was announced on Monday in an order signed by Additional SP Russellur Rahman. The suspension followed viral social media videos showing officers demanding money from truck drivers.
