Chattogram City Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bahan Limited to transform the city into a modern, tech-driven metropolis. Bahan Limited, a licensed NTTN provider under BTRC, will ensure high-speed internet connectivity and smart technology integration. Mayor Shahadat Hossain stated that the agreement aims to replace the city’s overhead cables with a structured underground optical fiber network, enhancing both urban aesthetics and internet speed for residents.
