Israel has intensified its assault on Gaza, killing at least 71 Palestinians and injuring 251 in the past 24 hours alone, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Thirty-seven of the deaths occurred in Gaza City, where Israel is reportedly planning a major strike. Two more people—including a child—died of starvation, raising the total famine-related death toll to 273, of which 112 are children. Since March 18, when Israel broke a ceasefire and resumed its offensive, 10,717 Palestinians have been killed and 45,324 injured. Meanwhile, 24 people were killed and 133 injured in the past day while attempting to collect aid. Since May 27, at least 2,060 Palestinians have died and 15,197 injured in attacks during humanitarian aid distribution.
