During the Eid-ul-Azha holidays from June 5 to 13, the national emergency helpline 999 received over 14,000 calls, with 13,831 seeking police assistance. Reports included extortion at cattle markets, roads, and rivers, as well as forced relocation of livestock. A total of 1,271 Eid-related complaints were addressed. Additionally, there were over 4,000 calls related to physical assaults, over 1,000 ambulance requests, and nearly 1,000 reports of criminal activities. Authorities responded and resolved many of the reported issues during the holiday period.
