In the unofficial results of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mostafizur Rahman, symbolized by the scale, has been declared the unofficial winner in the Kurigram-4 constituency, which includes Roumari, Char Rajibpur, and Chilmari. He received 78,943 votes, according to the preliminary count.

His closest rival, Md. Azizur Rahman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), secured 57,945 votes, while Islami Andolan Bangladesh’s candidate Hafizur Rahman, represented by the hand fan symbol, obtained 9,449 votes. The total number of registered voters in the constituency was 322,145, comprising 160,783 men and 161,362 women.

The results are yet to be officially confirmed, but the unofficial outcome places Mostafizur Rahman ahead by a significant margin in this northern Bangladesh constituency.
