Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan, MP, held a meeting with Ji Soon Song, Director of the Human and Social Development Division of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), at the Ministry of Education on Tuesday. The discussion focused on the development of Bangladesh’s education sector, particularly technical and vocational education and training, teacher training, and various primary education programs.

The meeting also covered ADB’s ongoing and potential assistance programs, future education development plans, and ways to strengthen cooperation aligned with the government’s priority initiatives. Both sides discussed possible new programs to enhance primary education.

Minister Milan emphasized the importance of international development partners in improving the quality of education and praised ADB’s ongoing support. Ji Soon Song commended the government’s initiatives in the education sector and reaffirmed ADB’s commitment to continue its cooperation in line with national priorities.
