Commerce, Industry and Textiles Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir announced that the government is implementing an integrated and timely action plan to revive the country’s industrial sector, stabilize markets, and ensure the safe supply of essential goods. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has introduced an automated e-traffic prosecution system that issues notices to vehicle owners and drivers who violate traffic laws across the city. Turkey has developed three new kamikaze drones—K2, Sivrisinek, and Mizrak—through defense manufacturer Baykar, aiming to rival Iran’s Shahed series. The Directorate of Films and Publications (DFP) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced a government initiative to produce two short films highlighting Bangladesh’s history, heritage, and culture.
