Reports indicate that he illegally entered Bangladesh 15-20 days ago and had been working as a laborer at the residence of Ramzan Ali in Majhipara Toyagach. Acting on a tip-off, BGB apprehended him and handed him over to Tetulia Model Police Station. A case has been filed against him for illegal entry.

Indian National Arrested in Panchagarh for Illegal Entry

A Bangladeshi man, Al Amin (36), was shot dead by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday at the Bhitargarh border in Panchagarh. Local sources reported that Al Amin had been missing for three days. On Friday night, he and a group of 15-20 smugglers were attempting to smuggle cattle from India into Bangladesh when BSF intercepted them, leading to a physical altercation. At one point, BSF opened fire. The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) commander held a flag meeting with his BSF counterpart, strongly protesting the incident and demanding the return of the body.

BSF Shoots and Kills Bangladeshi Man at Border

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized smuggled goods worth Tk 11.3 million that were illegally brought from India, evading customs duty. According to Lieutenant Colonel Md. Nazmul Haque, commander of the 48th BGB Battalion, a raid was conducted early Friday along the Sylhet and Sunamganj border areas. Items seized include a large quantity of sunglasses, sarees, raisins, creams, chocolates, mehndi, razor blades, sugar, hair oil, soap, basmati rice, liquor, and Phensedyl. Authorities have stated that legal actions will be taken in accordance with regulations.

Bangladeshi Youth Killed by Indian Smugglers at Border

Fifty-six Bangladeshi fishermen, who were detained by the Myanmar Navy, have been released after ten hours in custody. The fishermen were arrested along with six fishing trawlers while fishing near Saint Martin’s Island in the Bay of Bengal. According to Lieutenant Colonel Ashiqur Rahman, the trawlers unintentionally entered Myanmar’s territorial waters while fishing in the southwest region of the sea. 13 Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested in India for Illegal Entry

A 37-year-old Indian national, Shaon Karmakar, was apprehended by Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Monday while attempting to enter the country illegally through the Comilla border. Karmakar, a resident of Khayerpur police station in West Tripura, was found in possession of an Aadhaar card issued by the Indian government, a Permanent Account Number (PAN) card, and a State Bank Classic Visa card. BGB Launches New Battalion in Ukhiya to Strengthen Border Surveillance

A Bangladeshi national, Al-Amin Mia (30), was shot dead by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) near the zero line of the Kasba border in Brahmanbaria on Friday night. According to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources, Al-Amin had approached the border at around 9 PM when BSF troops opened fire, leaving him injured. The BSF later took him to Bishalgarh Hospital in India, where he succumbed to his injuries.
