In Faridpur’s Charbhadrasan upazila, Awami League activists attacked police officers and forcibly freed a handcuffed party leader during an arrest operation on Tuesday morning. Police had detained former union Awami League general secretary Md. Kabir Khan, 52, from Munshirchar Bazar under the Anti-Terrorism Act when his supporters launched the assault.
