Despite successfully passing the 18th Teacher Registration Exam, candidates over the age of 35 staged a protest in front of the NTRCA (Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority) building on Saturday, demanding the right to apply for government teaching positions.

They claimed that based on the age calculation criteria mentioned in the notice published on November 2, 2023, they should be eligible to apply for positions under the 6th mass recruitment circular. However, due to exceeding the age limit, many qualified individuals are being unfairly excluded. Protesters warned that if their demands are not met, they will initiate indefinite street demonstrations.
