Subsequently, they were attacked. Reports suggest that the victims fired shots, and police claim to have recovered weapons from them. Jamaat leader Zayed stated that the two were falsely accused as robbers and killed under the pretense of arbitration. He also alleged that attempts to rescue them were obstructed by felled trees on the road.

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s health has improved significantly compared to before, according to her personal physician and BNP Standing Committee member Dr. M.Z. Zahid Hossain.

He confirmed that Khaleda Zia is currently staying at the residence of Tarique Rahman in London, where she is under the supervision of specialist doctors. “She is not fully recovered, but by the grace of Allah, she is in much better condition than before. On Tuesday morning, the National Citizens’ Party (NCP) held a prayer program at the Rayerbazar Memorial for the martyrs of the July uprising. During the event, NCP’s chief organizer, Sarjees Alam, declared that elections would not take place until Awami League is brought to justice.

Sarjees stated, “How can the people of this country think of anything else when so many murders were committed under Hasina’s orders?
