Police in Chattogram have seized a covered van loaded with fabric rolls allegedly intended for making uniforms for the Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF), a hill-based armed separatist group. The shipment was traced back to a garment factory owned by Awami League leader and former MP Abduch Salam. Four individuals have been detained for questioning.
