He called for legal action against those who repeatedly violated the constitution and formed illegitimate governments. "The people of Bangladesh reject the rehabilitation of these defeated, fugitive forces responsible for disappearances, murders, corruption, and money laundering," he stated. He urged for democratic norms and practices to be institutionalized, ensuring a democratic state that includes all religions and communities.

BNP leader Gayeshwar Chandra Roy stated that banning political parties is not a solution to national problems, which are primarily psychological. He recalled the demise of historical parties like the Muslim League and JASAD, warning that any party acting against the people's interest naturally dissolves. “Those seeking to ban the Awami League today may try to ban the BNP tomorrow. Who can guarantee otherwise?” he asked. Roy emphasized that the people should decide which parties are acceptable and which should be politically sidelined.

BNP leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi accused the interim government of following in Sheikh Hasina’s footsteps by crafting political narratives. “Law enforcement is raiding the home of Suman, who disappeared 15 years ago, while a murder-accused former president escapes through the airport unnoticed,” he said. Rizvi questioned whether the current regime is covertly rehabilitating fascist elements. He added, “When elected governments exist, they are answerable to the people—Sheikh Hasina never was. Her intent was to cling to power at all costs. Now the same tactics are repeating themselves.” He also highlighted ongoing power outages in Adabor, asking, “Whom do we hold accountable without an elected authority?”
