Speaking during a summit in Kazakhstan, Xi emphasized peaceful resolution and China's willingness to mediate. He condemned violations of national sovereignty and warned against military solutions. China Urges Israel-Iran Ceasefire Amid Escalating Middle East Tensions
China has accused U.S. President Donald Trump of escalating the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict by urging citizens to leave Tehran. The accusation follows Israel’s airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear sites, aimed at halting Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Tehran insists its nuclear program is peaceful. Nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran have also broken down amid the tensions.
During a break in the Consensus Commission meeting, BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed told reporters that if the BNP forms the government, opposition parties will be given leadership roles in key parliamentary standing committees — based on the number of seats they hold.
These important committees include:
The Public Accounts Committee
The Privileges Committee
The Estimates Committee
The Public Undertakings Committee
Ahmed also mentioned that ongoing discussions around amending Article 69 of the Constitution have reached a consensus among all parties on two critical issues: votes of confidence and money bills. Under the proposed amendments, MPs must follow their party's stance on these two matters.
However, the BNP has proposed that MPs should not be allowed to vote independently on issues related to national security. He added that all parties have also agreed to reserve 100 parliamentary seats for women.

She further stated that this is the second time since entering politics that she has been the target of a highly organized cyberattack:

U.S. President Donald Trump is considering providing direct military support to Israel amid the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, sparking a hidden rift within the Republican Party. While conservatives are demanding immediate strikes on Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities, staunch supporters of the “Make America Great Again” agenda are reluctant to drag the United States into another foreign war.
An attack on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility would require the deployment of U.S. stealth bombers. In response to escalating tensions, American troops and military equipment are being moved to the Middle East, alongside increased diplomatic pressure from the Trump administration.

Prominent political figure Sarwar Tushar has spoken out against what he describes as an unjust campaign of social media bashing and character assassination. In a public statement, he emphasized his willingness to accept and correct personal mistakes, but strongly denied any criminal wrongdoing.
“I’m not above making mistakes. As a human being, I still have room for personal development. If I’ve made any errors, I expect my well-wishers to let me know, and I’m fully prepared to address them,” Tushar stated. “However, I have not committed any crime. I do not deserve the kind of social media trial and bashing I am currently facing.”
Tushar alleged that a smear campaign is being carried out against him for political reasons. “There is no honor in distorting and sharing a private conversation from three months ago out of context just to defame me.”
He also condemned attempts to defame a female colleague by falsely linking her to him. “One of my party's central joint coordinators, a female colleague, is being insulted by associating her name with mine. Please stop this,” he urged.
Tushar further claimed that fake screenshots and fabricated conversations have been circulated in his name. “I will certainly explain everything to the party leadership. To my friends and allies who had high expectations of me, I apologize if any temporary lapse on my part caused disappointment.”
