Alima further noted that Imran is fully prepared for a nationwide movement. “This movement cannot be stopped,” she said. “Imran will not call the people to Islamabad. The PTI founder has made it clear that the movement will spread across all of Pakistan.”

Former Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned that the risk of full-scale war with India is now greater than ever. An expatriate from Katiadi upazila has been unable to build his home for 15 years due to threats and interference by local Awami League-affiliated figures, Golap Mia and Dhalai Mia. Police have arrested three individuals, including the night guard of IFIC Bank's sub-branch in Keraniganj, Dhaka, for stealing Tk 15.3 lakh during the Eid holidays. Allegations have surfaced that five activists from the ruling party’s student wing, Chhatra League, were given key positions—including member secretary and joint convener—within the newly formed Chhatra Dal committee in Baraigram. An auto-rickshaw driver named Humayun Kabir (48) was killed in an attack over the distribution of Eid-ul-Adha meat in Boalmari, Faridpur on Monday. Police have arrested Md Amiruzzaman Mia, a Jubo League leader from Khashiani Upazila, Gopalganj, in connection with a sabotage case. The BNP Central Committee has given the Faridpur district and city units until July to form their new committees. In a letter signed by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on June 2, the central body instructed that all local units must complete their formation by early July, with the district conference scheduled by July 12. Failure to meet the deadline will result in the dissolution of the committees. Local leaders have pledged to comply with the directive.

Faruk Hossain Nurnabi has resigned from his position as Secretary of the Lakshmipur District unit of Jamaat-e-Islami, citing personal reasons. He submitted his resignation to district Ameer S.U.M. Ruhul Amin Bhuiyan on Wednesday morning. Later in the day, A.R. Hafiz Ullah was appointed as the new district secretary. The resignation was confirmed by Advocate Mohsin Kabir Murad, Assistant Secretary of the district unit. Nurnabi served in the role for four years and currently resides in Bhabaniganj, with ancestral roots in Kamalnagar.
