Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei has described U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim about possible diplomatic talks with Iran as ‘unreliable’. In an interview with India Today published on March 25, 2026, Baghaei stated that several countries have approached Iran with mediation proposals, but Tehran remains firm on defending itself.
