Jalal Uddin, the convener of the BNP’s student wing in Dobaura upazila, Mymensingh, was seriously injured in a sudden attack on Monday night. The attackers remain unidentified.
Eyewitnesses reported that Jalal was ambushed near Dudhnoi Government Primary School by a group of assailants wielding sharp weapons. He was initially taken to the local health complex but later transferred to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital as his condition worsened. He is currently undergoing treatment.
