Hamas has released footage of its recent rocket attack on Tel Aviv, claiming it as retaliation against Israel’s alleged genocide in Gaza. The Kassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, announced that they launched M90 missiles targeting occupied Tel Aviv. Following his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, former U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump shared on Truth Social, “The discussion was very good. We are on the right track.” He mentioned that much of the conversation was based on his previous call with Putin, aimed at aligning both Russia’s and Ukraine’s requests and needs. The BBC reported that the call between Trump and Zelensky lasted for an hour. Meanwhile, Putin recently agreed to pause attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure for 30 days but did not agree to a full ceasefire.

On Wednesday, Russia and Ukraine conducted a prisoner exchange involving 175 individuals. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the released prisoners included severely wounded soldiers and fighters who had been falsely imprisoned in Russia. The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the exchange, mentioning that they had released 22 severely injured Ukrainian prisoners as a goodwill gesture, though the original plan was to release 23. Zelensky expressed gratitude to the UAE for mediating the exchange.

After a series of airstrikes that killed over 970 people in Gaza, Israel has announced an escalation of its ground offensive. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that their troops had advanced to the Netzarim Corridor, dividing northern and southern Gaza. The IDF has ordered large-scale evacuations in the area. Meanwhile, the UN reported an explosion at its Deir al-Balah office, killing two people, including a staff member. Israel has denied responsibility for the incident.

Sixteen Houthi fighters were killed in a US airstrike in Yemen on Wednesday night. Among the casualties were seven women and two children. According to Al-Masirah TV, the airstrikes targeted Saada in Al-Jawf province, Al-Hazm district, and As-Sawadiyah district in Al-Bayda province. Reports indicate that since former President Trump's announcement, Anadolu has recorded dozens of US airstrikes in Yemen, resulting in 53 deaths and 107 injuries by Tuesday evening.

Israel has blocked the main route, Salah al-Din Street, which serves as the primary passage for movement from northern to southern Gaza. This action is a violation of the latest ceasefire agreement. Hamas has condemned the move, stating that it has completely derailed the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, further tightening the blockade on Gaza and worsening the humanitarian crisis. According to AFP, Israeli airstrikes in war-torn Gaza have claimed the lives of 970 Palestinians in the past 48 hours.

Israeli Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, has stated that Israel’s military operations in Gaza will continue until the region is completely free of Hamas. He asserted that Hamas has “two options”—to release all hostages and disarm entirely.

Azar claimed that the 42-day temporary ceasefire had ended because Hamas failed to release captives. He argued that Israel has no choice but to take military action, despite Hamas already releasing more hostages than initially agreed. In contrast, Israel has been slow in fulfilling its commitment to releasing Palestinian prisoners.

Hamas has called for large-scale protests and blockades in front of Israeli and US embassies worldwide. In a statement on Tuesday, the group accused the “occupying fascist government” of committing another round of brutal aggression and genocide in Gaza, violating humanitarian principles and religious laws. The statement emphasized that the blockade aims to exert maximum pressure on Tel Aviv and Washington to halt the ongoing assault on the people of Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened further attacks after Israeli airstrikes killed at least 436 Palestinians, including 183 children, in Gaza. Strikes continued overnight, devastating multiple areas. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and Egypt has condemned the attacks, calling them a clear violation of the ceasefire. Netanyahu insists Israel is waging a full-scale war against Hamas. Hamas has rejected U.S.-backed changes to the ceasefire agreement, calling them unacceptable. The conflict has escalated, raising fears of further violence in the region.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s government media updated the total death toll to over 61,700, stating that thousands of missing individuals buried under the rubble are presumed dead. On Tuesday, Israel violated the ceasefire in Gaza, killing 404 people in a single day.
