Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reportedly transferred wartime authority to the Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to a report by Iran International. While the news has yet to be officially confirmed, sources indicate that Ayatollah Khamenei, along with his influential son Mojtaba Khamenei, has been moved to a secret bunker in Lavizan, northeast of Tehran.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said in a statement that Iran’s state institutions and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) must be targeted. He described them as the "pillars" of Iran’s regime.

In a previous public address, Katz explicitly stated that Israel’s goal is to assassinate Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei—further signaling Israel's shift toward directly targeting Iran’s top leadership.

According to Turkish media, the United States and Germany have sent military supplies to Israel aboard 14 cargo planes amid the escalating conflict with Iran. The equipment is meant to support the Israeli army’s operational readiness.

Since the start of Israel’s offensive on Gaza in October 2023, over 800 military cargo flights have reportedly landed in Israel.

“With the help of Allah, we will strike any target associated with the Zionist occupiers without pause,” Mousavi stated. He also praised the base’s personnel for their "high morale and full readiness," and commended the IRGC for its recent "precise and devastating" operations against Israel.
