Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue military operations against Iran, stating that they will persist "as long as Iran poses an existential threat to Israel." Thanking Oman for its mediation efforts, he said, “Our rights are protected under international law. Under the Supreme Leader’s fatwa, Iran has never sought nuclear weapons and never will. But we will not give up our right to peaceful nuclear technology.” He condemned the killing of Iranian scientists by Israel and criticized the global silence on the Gaza genocide.

The death toll has risen to 40 following a massive explosion at Iran’s largest commercial port, Shahid Rajaei, near Bandar Abbas. Over 1,000 people have been injured. The explosion shattered windows and rooftops of nearby buildings and destroyed numerous vehicles. Residents reported hearing the blast from up to 50 kilometers away. Authorities confirmed that six people are still missing.

At least 406 people were injured following a massive explosion on Saturday afternoon at Shahid Rajaei Port in Iran’s Hormozgan Province. Al Jazeera reported that the port primarily handles container shipments and also houses oil tanks and petrochemical facilities. Preliminary investigations suggest that negligence in the storage of flammable materials caused the explosion. Notably, five years ago, the port was the alleged target of a cyberattack blamed on Israel.
