Israeli bombardment of Gaza continues to claim lives, with at least 59 Palestinians killed and 244 injured in just one day. This brings the death toll in Gaza to over 63,000 since the escalation began.
Attacks on aid collectors alone have killed 2,203 people. Airstrikes in Gaza City have been paired with intensified ground assaults, leaving no part of the enclave untouched.
Hospitals are overwhelmed or destroyed, forcing many of the wounded to die without treatment. A lack of equipment has also left people trapped under rubble with little chance of rescue. On Friday alone, five people—including children—died of starvation and malnutrition, raising the hunger-related death toll to 322, including 121 children.
Gaza Under Siege: 59 Palestinians Killed, 244 Injured in One Day
At least 61 Palestinians were killed in the past 24 hours as Israeli forces intensified strikes across Gaza, local sources said Friday. Among the dead were 19 people who were killed while attempting to collect humanitarian aid.
Four others, including two children, died of starvation and malnutrition, residents reported. Heavy bombardments targeted eastern and southern Gaza City, with fears of mass casualties and large-scale displacement of nearly one million Palestinians taking refuge in those areas.
In Zaytoun alone, more than 1,500 homes were destroyed, leaving the neighborhood reduced to rubble. The Israeli military stated it was targeting fighters and their infrastructure across Gaza.
Meanwhile, UN human rights experts expressed concern over the growing number of Palestinians reported missing amid the conflict.

Palestinian National Council Chairman Ruhi Fattouh has condemned the Israeli finance minister’s proposal to blockade Gaza and seize it in stages, calling it an “open confession of genocide and war crimes.”
In a statement Thursday, Fattouh said such “provocative rhetoric” was no longer limited to extremist views but was now being implemented as state policy. He pointed to two years of siege, during which aid centers were attacked, infrastructure destroyed, and forced displacement attempted.
Fattouh also denounced violence by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank and urged the international community, the UN, and the Security Council to uphold their legal and political responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich declared Gaza City and refugee camps as “battle zones,” vowing to starve Hamas members “to death by hunger and thirst.”
Palestinian Leader: Israeli Minister’s Gaza Plan a ‘Confession of Genocide and War Crimes’
In Monday’s deadly Israeli airstrikes on a Gaza hospital, at least 20 people, including five journalists and several medical staff, were killed. Among them was Palestinian journalist Mariam Abu Daqqa, who left behind a touching letter for her son, Gaith.
In the letter, she wrote:
“My dear Gaith, I want you to pray for me. Do not cry at my death—let me be happy. I did everything so you could live happily, safely, and healthily. I want you to grow into a successful businessman. When you marry and have a daughter, name her ‘Mariam’ after me. You are my love, my heart, my soul. Pray for me. Your mother, Mariam.”

At least 64 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza over the past 24 hours, according to local reports. Among them, 13 people died while collecting humanitarian aid, while three others succumbed to starvation and malnutrition.
Al Jazeera reported that Israeli forces have pushed deeper into Gaza City, systematically destroying entire neighborhoods, leaving families with nowhere left to flee. The ongoing blockade has created catastrophic famine conditions.
Humanitarian groups warn that Israel is attempting to force nearly one million Palestinians into the south, into what is being described as a “concentration zone.”

Israeli occupying forces have killed at least 86 more Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, with 492 others injured in the latest round of attacks.
According to Gaza’s health ministry, 58 people were killed by artillery shelling, while 28 others were shot dead indiscriminately while attempting to collect food. Officials warned that actual casualties are likely much higher, as many remain trapped under rubble with limited rescue resources.
To date, Israeli assaults have killed more than 62,744 Palestinians and injured over 158,259 since the escalation began.
Israeli Strikes Kill 86 More in Gaza, Nearly 500 Wounded
At least 51 Palestinians were killed in Gaza in a single day of Israeli strikes, while 24 others died in chaos as they tried to collect humanitarian aid. An additional eight people perished from hunger and malnutrition.
According to Al Jazeera, Israel’s ongoing assault has destroyed more than 1,000 buildings in Gaza City’s Zeitoun and Sabra neighborhoods since August 6, leaving hundreds trapped beneath rubble. Hospitals are overwhelmed, with doctors struggling to cope with waves of wounded civilians.
Civil defense teams warn that the humanitarian crisis is spiraling out of control. No place in Gaza is safe—bombs are falling on homes, shelters, and even aid distribution centers in areas already declared famine zones.
Gaza Death Toll Mounts: 51 Killed in a Day, Hunger Claims More Lives
Israeli forces have destroyed more than 3,000 olive trees in the occupied West Bank during a three-day military campaign, leaving Palestinian farmers devastated. The operation, launched in Al-Mughayir village after an Israeli settler was shot, also damaged nearly 500 acres of farmland and razed homes.
For the village’s 4,000 residents, olive trees are their primary livelihood. Farmers say the destruction has left many families destitute. “They may uproot our trees and gardens, but they will never uproot us,” one farmer said defiantly. “Our roots run deeper than the olive trees.”

At least 63 Palestinians were killed in a single day of Israeli attacks on Gaza, including 22 people who had gathered for humanitarian aid, Palestinian authorities said Saturday. Al Jazeera Arabic footage showed Israeli tanks entering Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood, signaling an expansion of Israel’s ground operation.
Gaza’s health ministry reported that eight more people, including two children, died of malnutrition in the past 24 hours, raising the starvation toll since the war began to 281—among them 114 children. Health director Munir al-Bursh warned that hunger is “silently tearing apart civilian bodies, robbing children of their right to survive, and turning tents and hospitals into daily scenes of tragedy.”
Israeli Strikes Kill 63 in Gaza, Including 22 Seeking Aid
Israel has intensified its assault on Gaza, killing at least 71 Palestinians and injuring 251 in the past 24 hours alone, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
Thirty-seven of the deaths occurred in Gaza City, where Israel is reportedly planning a major strike. Two more people—including a child—died of starvation, raising the total famine-related death toll to 273, of which 112 are children.
Since March 18, when Israel broke a ceasefire and resumed its offensive, 10,717 Palestinians have been killed and 45,324 injured.
Meanwhile, 24 people were killed and 133 injured in the past day while attempting to collect aid. Since May 27, at least 2,060 Palestinians have died and 15,197 injured in attacks during humanitarian aid distribution.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a dual message: immediate talks for the release of hostages in Gaza and an official green light for the Israeli military’s plan to seize control of Gaza City—two moves critics describe as contradictory.
During a visit to the army’s Gaza Division, Netanyahu said, “I have come to approve the military’s decision to take control of Gaza City and intensify the war against Hamas. At the same time, I am calling for immediate negotiations to secure the release of all hostages and end the war under conditions acceptable to Israel.”
He described the conflict as reaching a “decisive stage” and expressed gratitude to both reserve and active-duty soldiers. Stressing that both goals must advance together, he added, “Defeating Hamas and freeing all captives must proceed in parallel.”

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that at least 70 Palestinians were killed and 356 injured in Israeli airstrikes over the past 24 hours.
Rescue operations remain hampered, with many victims trapped under rubble and on roads inaccessible to emergency teams. The ministry also said that 18 people were killed and over 117 wounded while attempting to collect humanitarian aid. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 2,036 since May 27, with more than 15,064 injured.
Additionally, two people died from hunger and malnutrition in the past day, raising the famine-related death toll to 271, including 112 children.
Gaza Death Toll Rises as 70 Palestinians Killed in 24 Hours
Hamas has declared that Israel’s planned assault on Gaza City will end in failure, similar to previous attempts. The group criticized Defense Minister Israel Katz’s approval of “Operation Gideon’s Chariots 2,” saying it undermines ceasefire and prisoner swap efforts by mediators. Hamas accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of rejecting peace proposals, caring little for captives, and pursuing a brutal war against civilians. The plan reportedly involves displacing one million Palestinians southward before encircling and capturing the city.
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, carried out an attack in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, injuring several Israeli soldiers. The assault reportedly involved anti-personnel shells.
According to the Israeli military, around 18 armed fighters launched a raid on an army camp early Wednesday, leaving at least three soldiers wounded, one critically. Palestinian media, however, claimed that as many as seven soldiers were injured.
Meanwhile, in Syria’s Golan Heights, seven Israeli soldiers were injured while attempting to defuse bombs.
Several Israeli Soldiers Injured in Hamas Attack in Khan Younis
Hamas has proposed a 60-day ceasefire and a prisoner exchange with Israel, offering the release of 200 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for 28 hostages (10 alive, 18 deceased). The proposal also includes a partial withdrawal of Israeli forces and increased humanitarian aid access in Gaza. However, Israel’s position is clear: the war will only end when all 50 hostages in Gaza (20 of whom are alive) are released. While the general public is calling for a ceasefire, Netanyahu faces pressure from hardline coalition allies. Civilian casualties and a humanitarian crisis continue unabated in Gaza.
