He described the situation as a ‘once-in-a-generation challenge’ and a matter of security for every European nation. Both Macron and Starmer are considering forming a new security alliance, seeking support from former U.S. President Donald Trump.

A day after a heated exchange with Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in London, where he was warmly received by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. As Zelensky’s motorcade reached Downing Street, supporters cheered. Russia carried out 154 drone strikes on Ukraine overnight, with Kharkiv suffering the most damage. Two civilians were killed, and several others were injured. A three-story hospital was destroyed, but rescue teams managed to pull 63 survivors—56 of them women and children—from the rubble.
