According to OC Khandaker Hafizur Rahman, Amiruzzaman is accused of felling trees onto the Dhaka-Khulna highway to disrupt traffic. He was arrested in the Ratil Horticulture Center area on Wednesday and later sent to jail by the court.

Police have arrested three men in connection with the mugging of a Chinese citizen in Chattogram. The arrested individuals—Mohammad Hridoy, Raju Majumder, and Ferdous—allegedly threatened the victim with a knife and stole his mobile phone along with 35,000 taka. The incident took place on June 9 at the main gate of the BEPZA residential area when the victim, Zheng King Zhin, an official at New Era Fashion BD, was shopping.
