Two prisoners, including a convict in the BDR mutiny case, have died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). According to data from Bangladesh Bank, the country’s gross foreign exchange reserves have dropped to $25 billion after making payments to the Asian Clearing Union (ACU). Under the IMF’s BPM6 calculation standard, the reserves now stand at $19.7 billion. Previously, on March 6, the gross reserves were $27.6 billion, with BPM6 reserves at $21.4 billion. A gold shop robbery occurred in Ashulia, Savar, on March 9, when a gang of four robbers attacked businessman Dilip Das, using a cocktail explosion to create panic.
