Businessman Rafiqul Islam filed a case naming 17 individuals and another 15–20 unknown attackers. During the attack, motorcycles were damaged, four workers assaulted, and four sacks of mustard along with cash were looted. Estimated loss: Tk 7 lakh. Named accused include Ismail Pramanik (40), president of Ward-1 Jubo League, and banned Chhatra League leader Mithu (35).
