The Ministry of Law revealed that the inter-ministerial committee on politically motivated cases has recommended the withdrawal of 11,448 cases so far. BNP submitted a list of nearly 16,000 cases between January 10–14, 2025, while Jamaat-e-Islami submitted a list of 1,200 cases on April 27.
