Four people, including a female doctor, have tested positive for COVID-19 in Cumilla. A Dhaka court has found no evidence in the fraud case filed against actress Shawon's stepmother, Nishi Islam. The March 19 final police report stated that the allegations—impersonation, extortion, and intimidation—could not be substantiated. As a result, Nishi Islam and her former husband Al Mahfuz Khan have been recommended for discharge. As per the academic calendar, primary schools will reopen on June 24, secondary schools and technical institutions on June 22, and madrasas on June 26.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday, strongly condemning Israel’s attacks on Iran. He called the assault a blatant violation of international law and an infringement on Iran’s sovereignty and security. Prince Mohammed noted that the attacks have disrupted nuclear negotiations. Al Jazeera reports that an Iranian missile struck a residential building in the Israeli city of Bat Yam, leaving approximately 35 people missing. The attack was part of a two-phase Iranian strike on Saturday midnight and early Sunday. At least six people were killed, and over 200 were injured. Hospitals in Israel are now overwhelmed with casualties.
