Seven Maoist insurgents were killed in a gun battle with security forces in Andhra Pradesh’s Alluri Sitarama Raju district, police confirmed on Wednesday. A tragic incident occurred in the Mucharia Pathar area of Gozaria Union, Sakhipur upazila of Tangail, where Shahinaz Begum, 58, allegedly strangled her 26-year-old disabled daughter Sajeda to death before taking her own life by hanging.
