We want to rebuild a peaceful society and a peaceful nation,” he said. Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain echoed the sentiment, stating, “We aim to build Chattogram into a clean, green, and healthy city, as well as a city of peace and safety. People of all faiths—Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, and Christian—are united in harmony.”
