India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri has officially stated that India exercised its right to retaliate through ‘Operation Sindoor.’ The objective of the operation was to prevent further attacks from across the border following the Pahalgam massacre and dismantle terrorist infrastructures. Misri emphasized that the response aligns with the UN Security Council's April 25 statement condemning the attack and demanding justice. Indian Army Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Air Force Wing Commander Byomika Singh said Indian forces targeted and destroyed nine terrorist camps across the Line of Control between 1:05 AM and 1:30 AM on Tuesday night.
