Six individuals have been arrested by army personnel in connection with a brutal assault on two women in Mohanpur village, Natore. On June 26, Halima Khatun and Shahnaz Begum were scalded with hot water mixed with chili powder due to a longstanding feud. They also sustained head injuries from local weapons. Among the arrested are notorious criminal Sultan Dakat, his son Lalchan, family members, and local associates.
