Israel has reopened its airspace following a temporary closure triggered by a series of Iranian missile attacks on Monday night.
The airspace was shut down as a precautionary measure but reopened after the ceasefire announcement.
On Tuesday, foreign passengers rushed to airports, with rescue flights departing for destinations such as Australia.

Israel has formally accepted former U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed ceasefire with Iran.
In a statement released Tuesday, Israeli authorities said:

“Any violation of this ceasefire will be met with a strong response.”
The statement also claimed Israel had delivered significant blows to Iran’s military leadership and destroyed multiple strategic targets within central Tehran over the past 24 hours. Israel also thanked Trump for his mediation efforts.

Malaysia’s Ministry of Human Resources has urged all migrant workers earning less than RM1,700 per month to report their employers to the nearest labor office.
Violating employers could face a fine of RM10,000 per worker, with repeat offenses leading to daily fines of RM1,000 and up to five years in prison or RM20,000 in penalties.
The announcement follows media reports that some express and exclusive bus drivers were receiving as little as RM700 per month, with some not even being paid their base salaries.

After announcing a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, former President Trump urged both nations to respect the agreement.
“The ceasefire is now in effect. Please, do not violate it,” Trump posted.
Notably, hours before the truce announcement, Iran launched missile attacks on Israel that reportedly killed four civilians.

Following nearly two weeks of intense conflict, both Iranian and Israeli media confirmed that a ceasefire has come into effect.
President Trump had earlier announced the truce, stating it would be implemented six hours post-declaration, around midnight local time.
Iran’s state outlet Press TV said the ceasefire took effect after four separate Iranian attacks on Israeli-occupied areas.
Israeli outlets Channel 12 and Ynet also confirmed the truce but noted uncertainty over the exact conditions and timing of enforcement.

Former members of the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR), dismissed after the 2009 mutiny, are staging a protest in front of the National Museum with three demands for justice and rehabilitation.
Protesters, including families of affected personnel, threatened to surround the Chief Advisor’s residence in Jamuna if their demands are not met by noon.
Maruf Sarkar, a protester and son of a former BDR member, said:

“We are here to demand justice for the unfairly dismissed and imprisoned BDR members, and to restore their rightful dignity and welfare.”

Kuwait and Bahrain have reopened their airspace after temporarily closing it following Iranian missile attacks on U.S. military installations in Qatar. Dubai authorities confirmed that airport operations have fully resumed. Qatar’s Civil Aviation Authority also issued a statement noting that air traffic has returned to normal.

Reuters has reported, quoting a U.S. official, that Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani mediated between the U.S. and Iran to secure Tehran’s agreement to a ceasefire in the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict. The breakthrough reportedly came after direct telephone conversations between Qatari and Iranian officials. The report further states that U.S. President Biden had obtained Israel’s consent for the ceasefire and then sought Qatar’s assistance in convincing Iran to agree.

Adviser Farooq-e-Azam announced that those injured during the July 2024 mass uprising will begin receiving monthly allowances starting next month. Additionally, they will be entitled to free lifetime treatment at government medical hospitals. He emphasized that while it took 54 years to finalize the official list of freedom fighters, the list of martyrs and injured from the July uprising has been completed in just 7-8 months. The government is also introducing programs to help rehabilitate these fighters through employment or entrepreneurship based on their individual qualifications. A separate department has already been established for their rehabilitation. Farooq-e-Azam further added that if there are demands to trace the whereabouts of those missing since the uprising, applications will be considered—even using DNA from mass graves if necessary.

Teachers from non-MPO educational institutions have staged protests wearing symbolic burial shrouds, demanding inclusion in the Monthly Payment Order (MPO) scheme. On Monday, they marched from the National Press Club to Topkhana Road, vowing to continue their protest until their demands are met. The teachers claim that at least 3,000 institutions were unfairly excluded from the MPO list due to political biases during the previous administration, despite the teachers having no political affiliations. They urged the government to rectify this injustice and ensure fair treatment for all educators.

President Donald Trump has announced that Iran and Israel have agreed to a full ceasefire, set to take effect within six hours. Trump revealed that 14 missiles were fired—13 were intercepted, and the remaining one posed no threat. He thanked Iran for its advance notice, which helped avoid casualties, and called on Iran and Israel to pursue peace and cooperation.

Following Iran’s missile strike on a U.S. military base in Qatar, several Gulf states, including Qatar, Dubai, and Bahrain, closed their airspace on Monday. Flights are either turning back or diverting to alternate airports. FlightRadar24 confirmed multiple flights returning mid-route. The closure has disrupted schedules for airlines such as Qatar Airways and Emirates, causing widespread inconvenience to passengers.

Former U.S. envoy to Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, has accused Pakistan's military of engaging in a prolonged “double game” with the United States. In a post following a rare White House meeting between former President Donald Trump and Pakistan's Army Chief Asim Munir on June 18, Khalilzad claimed that while Pakistan accepted American assistance during the war in Afghanistan, it simultaneously harbored individuals responsible for killing U.S. personnel.
