At least 102 starving Palestinians have been shot dead by Israeli forces at U.S.-backed humanitarian aid distribution centers in Gaza over the past eight days, according to local media.

An additional 490 people have been injured. The Gaza Media Office has condemned the attacks as a “deliberate genocide,” while the UN has described the situation as a “calculated death trap.” UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called for an independent investigation into the Sunday attack at the Rafah aid center.

Israeli airstrikes in Gaza killed at least 37 Palestinians and injured 136 more within 24 hours, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. The total death toll in the besieged enclave has now exceeded 54,000, with over 124,190 reported injured. The ministry added that many bodies remain buried under rubble or lie on the streets, inaccessible due to the inability of rescue teams to reach affected areas.

Israeli forces opened fire on a crowd of civilians gathered to collect humanitarian aid in Rafah, southern Gaza, resulting in at least 50 deaths and over 200 injuries, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Eyewitnesses reported that people began assembling near a distribution center run by the American NGO Gaza Humanitarian Foundation early Sunday morning. As the crowd approached the center, Israeli military vehicles began firing directly at them, while drones dropped explosives from above, causing mass casualties.

Air raid sirens blared in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem following a missile launch from Yemen. In response, all flights at Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport were suspended. According to The Times of Israel, a missile fired from Yemen was en route to Ben Gurion Airport but was successfully intercepted mid-air. Mehr News reported hearing explosions in Tel Aviv after the attack. Since the violation of the ceasefire in Gaza, Yemen’s armed forces have reportedly launched at least 43 missiles towards Israeli-occupied territories.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports that 20 hostages held by Hamas in Gaza have died as a result of Israel’s military operations. The ongoing offensive, now lasting over 600 days since October 7, 2023, has endangered the lives of at least 54 other Israeli captives. The report suggests that many hostages died either directly from Israeli strikes or from military activity near their locations. Despite efforts to avoid collateral damage, Israeli forces have approved strikes within a few hundred meters of known hostage sites.

At least 60 Palestinians were killed and around 300 injured in a single day of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. Since the start of Israel’s military campaign in October 2023, at least 54,381 Palestinians have been killed and 124,054 wounded. Many people remain trapped under rubble and on the streets, with rescue efforts hindered by continued military activity.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has announced plans to establish a Jewish state in the occupied West Bank.
The announcement follows the Israeli government’s recent decision to approve the construction of 22 new illegal settlements on Palestinian land in the West Bank. Some previously unauthorized settlements will also be granted legal recognition.
Palestinian authorities and human rights organizations have condemned the move, calling it a violation of international law and a major obstacle to the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state.
Meanwhile, due to Israeli restrictions, foreign ministers from six countries, including Saudi Arabia, have been barred from entering the occupied West Bank.

Hamas has formally responded to the latest ceasefire proposal put forward by US envoy Steve Witkoff, stipulating that any agreement must ensure a permanent ceasefire—a demand that has long been considered a red line by Israel.
As per the proposal, Hamas agrees to release 10 living hostages and return the bodies of 18 deceased individuals. In exchange, Israel would free a specific number of Palestinian prisoners.
Hamas stated, “We believe the objective of this proposal should be to establish a permanent ceasefire, ensure a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, and allow unhindered humanitarian aid for our people.”

At least 72 Palestinians were killed and 278 others injured in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza between Thursday evening and Friday evening, according to Palestinian health officials.
The Quds Brigade claimed that resistance forces launched an attack in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, resulting in 10 Israeli soldiers killed or injured.
Following Friday’s attacks, the total number of casualties in Gaza over the past one and a half years has reached 54,321 dead and 123,770 injured. Women and children make up 56% of those killed or wounded.

Gaza is currently the only defined territory where the entire population is at risk of famine, according to Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). "It is the most hunger-stricken area on the planet," he said.

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron warned, “If the humanitarian situation in Gaza does not improve immediately, European nations must take a stronger stance against Israel.” He added, “We must act within the next few hours or days and consider sanctions.” The US has also renewed its call for a ceasefire.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has laid out conditions to end the Ukraine war, demanding a written commitment from NATO to halt further expansion and a rollback of certain sanctions. According to Reuters, Putin wants assurances that countries like Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova will not be granted NATO membership. Former U.S. President Donald Trump criticized Putin for being dismissive of ceasefire talks, accusing him of “playing with fire.” Meanwhile, Moscow rejected a proposed trilateral meeting involving Trump, Zelensky, and Putin.

A missile strike turned a Gaza school—used as a shelter—into an inferno late at night, killing at least 36 people, including 18 children and 6 women. Seven-year-old Ward Sheikh Khalil survived the attack but lost six family members. From her hospital bed, she tearfully recounted the tragedy: “The missile fell on us. The school burst into flames. I saw my mother and siblings burn in front of my eyes.” Al Jazeera confirmed that Ward is one of the few survivors from her immediate family.

Gaza’s Health Ministry reported 81 more Palestinians were killed in the past 24 hours due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes, with 53 of the victims from Gaza City alone. At least 169 were injured. Authorities believe the actual number of casualties is higher as many remain trapped under rubble. Since the war began over 18 months ago, a total of 53,977 people have been killed and 122,966 injured—56% of them women and children.

According to Hamas’ media office, Israeli forces have now taken control of 77% of Gaza. Hamas alleges that Israeli troops are displacing civilians through airstrikes to seize land.
The armed wings of Hamas and Islamic Jihad claim to have carried out bombings, anti-tank rocket attacks, and guerrilla operations against Israeli forces in various parts of Gaza.
Reports indicate that the latest Israeli strikes targeted Khan Younis in the south, Jabalia in the north, and Nuseirat in central Gaza. The renewed attacks have killed at least 23 people, including journalists and rescue workers.

At least 79 Palestinians were killed and over 200 injured in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza in a single day. The total death toll has now surpassed 53,900, with over 122,059 people reported injured. Rescue workers are unable to reach many of the dead bodies still trapped under rubble or lying in the streets due to ongoing security threats. Including those presumed dead but unrecovered, the estimated death toll has reached 61,700.
